Eyebrow angst aside, It's been a while since I blogged about my life! Basically I learned my neighbor had a blog so I was being nosy and was like "Hey that's kind of cool I want to do that too!
I then remembered "Oh duh I already do!"
And thus the story of how I rediscovered I had a blog.
So my last post was when I registered for high school. Classes, year goals, what not.
Well I'm already half a semester in (time flies, huh?) and now I can tell how those classes go!
SOCIAL DANCE
An awkward class filled with awkward people. Me included. Honestly if it wasn't for this class I would have NO friends at this school. Zero zip nada. The same way JROTC kids kind of stick together is similar to how dance kids stick together I guess. Except in JROTC the WHOLE corps was your family, in social dance you just kind of group off and become friends at best. Nonetheless though this class was perfect for the new kid like me to introduce herself. Even if it's extremely awkward day to day.
EARLY CHILDHOOD I
AMAZING! We literally just do preschool projects, YAAAS PRESCHOOL projects! I'm talking your finger painting, coloring sheets, some fruit loop bingo, etc! And when we aren't doing that we are running a REAL PRESCHOOL! It's great for the girl who dreams of being a teacher and the kids are just beyond adorable and YAAAAAAAAS!
GEOGRAPHY
Wasn't to excited about taking this class again with freshmen, but you know what I'm glad I did. The teacher is chill, I'm learning a lot Vegas didn't even bother teaching, and the freshmen are really funny, immature funny, but funny! My teacher even gave me permission once to
ACCOUNTING
Oh dear... what can I say it's math technically. My poor teacher has to like baby sit me I'm so stupid. Every time he's like, "Does anyone have any questions?" and then stares me down. Then after his lecture he walks to me and has to like step-by-step walk me through each problem... Yup...At least I can say that the teachers do really care here unlike LV!
PEER TUTOR
I had to sign an actual contract saying I wouldn't disclose information about this, but I will say it's a humbling experience and I'm glad to be actively working with this group again. My personal peer is also amazing and I'm glad I'm getting to know and hopefully help him.
CHILD DEVELOPMENT
It's like 8th-9th grade health all over again TBH. Same old be abstinent and yada yada STDs and babies. I got to take home the mechanical baby once even and I'll summarize it by saying I got a 'C' and I'm never EVER having kids. Damn thing would not stop crying, eating, etc. Like you're not even real shush!
ENGLISH
My teacher is cray in the best way possible. I love her class, but I should have been in honors or even AP. I'm too old and too intelligent at this subject to be asked if I need a "potty break" daily. Also I feel like the class gets baby'd to much. It could be because I'm used to the sophisticated aura that just comes with being in an honors English class, but... Eh. My fault for setting my standards low. Got an A today for drawing a picture though that's cool.
ADVISORY
It's a class to make up if your failing anything or behind and since I'm not I spend the hour reading fashion and interior design magazines while I eat whatever snack I brought and if that ain't the best thing ever I don't know what is.
That's the summary for the most part of my first term in school. I didn't join any clubs or sports. I considered FCCLA (like a Home Ec kind of club) and Basketball. But I'm not doing it. Maybe something will pop up later that interest me.
