Utah Trip #1

AND TO START I DIDN'T PACK MY CAMERA!! WTF!?!
That was the whole point of me coming out here! I wanted to get some nice winter-snow shots, deers, and all the other bullshit you don't see in Vegas everyday! Some fucking photographer I'm going to turn out to be if I don't even remember to pack a damn camera!

I'll be back (hence the title Utah Trip #1) but it will be Summer, so no snow shots for me...
Here's eight things of importance I did though.

IMPORTANT THING #1
Alex had to be SOCIAL?!?! IN PUBLIC?!?!
Not even a week yet and my grandparents were like, "Alex needs to get off the laptop, out of the room, and into the public. She's going grocery shopping with us!" Now you might be asking, "What's the problem, if it's just the store?" ... I get very bad anxiety in public, so that is the problem.

Strangely though it wasn't that bad. Stores in Utah are less crowded than Vegas. I even got to pick out snacks for the house, candy for me, and got a big thing of frozen yogurt after! (fuck the Klondike bar, ask me what i'll do for some frozen yogurt) I don't even care that it was nighttime, cold, and snowing I still ate it!

I even went home and took mirror-selfies which for me is VERY weird since being out in public usually destroys whatever bit of self-confidence I have! I was impressed.

IMPORTANT THING #2
Alex saw the movie Frozen!
Not even ten minutes into this movie and I was uncontrollably sobbing! Let's just say I relate to the "Anna-Elsa struggle" and snowmen are now very sentimental in my life.

How sentimental?

IMPORTANT THING #3
ALEX AND POPS BUILD A SNOWMAN!
Yes Anna, I want to build a Snowman! I even made sure to get my dad to make one with me before we went back to Vegas. I'd like to make one with my sis, but... Let's just say she's the Elsa to my Anna! The picture of Anna above just makes my analogy even more accurate.

ANYWAYS THOUGH, Behold Pops and my snowman. Isn't it cute? Not Olaf cute, but I'm glad my dad and I made it! You could say it was a very cool bonding experience for us! *ba-dum-tss*
you will laugh at my pun damn you!!

IMPORTANT THING #4
ALEX MEETS YUKI AND TRIES JAPANESE SNACKS
My grandparents are hosting a Japanese foreign-exchange student and because of it I got to try a lot of Japanese treats and test my Japanese lessons on an actual native! Her name is Yuki and she's 16. I'm like 85% sure she's a ギャル(Gal, It's a Japanese fashion style, or lifestyle! Depends on who you ask) She's really fashionable!

IMPORTANT THING #5
ALEX MEETS BABY COUSIN ALIYAH(sp?)
IDK. Prounounced AYE (Like ayyyyyyyy) and LAH ( so-fa-LA-ti-do)
You little doll you! She's cute and super sweet, unlike my little devil-spawned niece and nephew who are unworthy of the love auntie gives them. I kid. They are little brats though, but I do love em'!

IMPORTANT THING #6
ALEX SCORES 19 ON FLAPPY BIRD
Now don't give me that I sold my soul to Satan so I could get 100+ points bullshit. I will hate you.

IMPORTANT THING #7
ALEX PLAYS WITH PICTURE-EDITING APPS
Maybe she's born with it, Maybe it's brightening, Filters, Liquify, Bokeh, and some other apps!

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING #8
REST EASY GREAT-GRANDPA DON
I won't give you the full story, or go into details about the death since it's a family-matter in my opinion, but just know this guy was hardcore AF

To not end this too depressing here are three things I have in common with him that I learned:

1. SWEETS. Ok I knew this one, but it's no secret I love junk food!
2. BLACKJACK. Unfortunately I didn't inherit his skill at it, but I do play! (The legal kid versions!!)
3. BRONCOS. Despite that Super Bowl they will always be my team!

If you're a Seahawks fan congrats, very good defense your team has, and don't talk to me for about 700000 years until I recover from that Broncos defeat,
OKTHXBYE!
